About 9am we got a radio call for Signal 10 (Fight at our facility) and officers needing assistance. Was happy to find out when we got there it was not officer involved, however, 5 inmates were attacking another (2 with weapons) on the yard. There are 24 inmates on the yard at the time and the victim pin himself in the corner and balled up to protect himself (which saved his life). However.. he was up against the door as well and 2 of the attackers were holding the door trying to keep us out. Once we had about 8-9 people we racked the door and rushed the yard. 5-6 more officers showedup just as we cracked the door.
